What is the trial mode of the program, and what are the conditions of its use?

If you have never used the “Navitel Navigator” program before, you can install its free trial version. The duration of the trial mode of the program is 6 days from the first start. This period will give you a chance to enjoy all the advantages of the program, because the mode gives access to the entire functionality and existing services of the program. The trial mode also allows its users to download any official NAVITEL® maps. After the expiration of the trial mode the program, maps and its services become unavailable. To resume the use of the program one must purchase a license. Only maps that are included in the license will be available. Having purchased the program license, the user can also buy licenses for additional maps or map packages.

Glossary

License (activation) key: The characters required for removal of functional limitations with the program and/or map.

Registration: The process allows removing the functional limitations of the program and / or maps. In the process of registering the program, or maps created by the activation file.

Serial Number (ID device): A combination of numbers and/or letters that you see on the screen when you run the unregistered version of Navitel Navigator.

1- Where can I buy “Navitel Navigator” software and maps?

2- Where can I see the software version, installed on my device?

5- How to register the program?
Metod 1: using a PC
1. Go to Activate Your License,
2. Enter the license key and a device ID, then push “Next” button,
3. Save a software activation key on you PC and copy it to the NavitelContentLicense folder on your device SD (microSD) card.

Method 2: using the Internet connetion on your device
1. Connect your device to the Internet (you can use GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi or any other connection),
2. Start the “Navitel Navigarot” software on your device and press the automatic registration button,
3. Enter the license key. The software will be registered automatically and the activation key will be saved in NavitelContentLicense folder on your device SD (microSD) card.

To register the software on your PND, use the metod 1.

6- Iran map registration and update
1. Go to Check Map Update,
2. Enter the map license key and press the “Check for Map Update” button,
3. Click to download and save the file on your PC,
4. Unzip the file and copy them to map folder on your device SD (microSD) card,
5. Reindex your atlas.

7- Where can I see the software license key?
You can see the license key on the box or the CD of the program, or with the email you receive after your successful purchase.
In the registered “Navitel Navigator 3.2” and higher you can see it in “Main menu” — “Information” — “About”.
If you are using PND, you can also see the key in the “Registration Key.txt” file.

8- I get the message “You have entered an invalid license key to the program (map).”
You might have entered license wrongly. Check your spelling and try to enter the license with NO extra spaces.
Common Errors: confused characters “1” and «L», «g» and «q», «B” and “8”.
If you still get the error send us a note with the “Support Request” in the subject.

9- I get the message “This license key is already activated for another user.”
You might have entered license wrongly. Check your spelling and try to enter the license with NO extra spaces.

10- I can not connect to the satellites.
Make sure that the GPS enabled (satellite icon on the map must be green). The first connection should be set, without moving the device in an open area for some time, up to 20-30 minutes. Verify that specified as the source of GPS signal: (Main Menu / Options / Other / Advanced / GPS). When set to demo track, change the settings on the GPS Api or Com-port.

11- Can not create new atlas with updated map.
After downloading the map update and changed the last map files with the updated map files, device tries to use the updated map and create a new atlas.
But after reading map files the process fails without creating new atlas.
Usually this problem occurs when device has not enough memory (RAM) for indexing. To solve this problem there are two ways:
– Make index on another device with the same map collection and use it on the device.
– Free some memory on device: close all applications, use slider in page “Control panel/Memory” to convert memory from “Storage” to “Program”.
